Here at Surgical Education International (SEI), we have aspirations that span worldwide. We mobilize surgical professionals to educate local medical groups on surgical practices and to perform necessary treatments to underprivileged local people.
We coordinate medical mission trips to underprivileged communities with the following goals in mind:
- Educate professionals in other countries by teaching new and advanced technology and techniques in the medical field
- Perform procedures and pre/post operative care that help equip missionary hospitals with more outreach to their surrounding communities
- Provide medicine and medical instruments that otherwise would not be as readily available
- Donate to missionary organizations such as PAACS and missionary hospitals that are need of aid
- Have a long standing and positive impact as opposed to quick and distanced “humanitarian” aid
