SEI is short for surgical, education, international and it is under KAMHC/GMMA. KAMHC/GMMA is an non-profit organization composed of healthcare professionals in many different fields.

We are composed of surgical professionals — surgeons, surgical and registered nurses, surgical technicians.

What We Do

We perform surgical procedures and educate local staff on proper surgical procedures and appropriate post-operative care.

Short Story About SEI

William Han, Director

SEI was founded in 2014 by a group of professionals: Dr. Tae Kim, Dr. William Han, and Dr. Daniel Chun. SEI student group was founded in 2016 by a group of students dedicated to providing surgical needs to those in need around the world.

We have gone on several surgical mission trips in the past. We are in the process of scheduling surgical trips to other countries like Mexico, Ecuador, India and more

Dr. Anthony Gonzales

The air is so thick and filled with vapor that fine droplets of yet-to-be-evaporated sweat are visible on my forearms refusing to be borne off into the air. We drive through the sometimes paved, narrow and uneven roads, plastic bags and bags and more bags of trash strewn on the edges of the roadway like strata of rock you would see at the Grand Canyon.

There are nearly continuously heard beeps from car and motorcycle horns not tooted from some angry road rager but more to announce ones’s presence.
